The coffee was hot, the chocolate in the mocha wasn’t some random chocolate dust it was real chocolate. Tasted amazing. Was pretty busy and while the owner was doing it all himself he did a great job. If you are in a hurry maybe go to McDonald’s, but if you aren’t in a rush this is the place to be. The ham and cheese croissant was bloody delicious, toasted to perfection

Yes the coffee is good, and consistently so. What keeps me coming back is the staff are accommodating and the service is always excellent. Also, a bag of their house blend beans is a good option to bring home too.

Their service was excellent! Ordered both pastries for takeaway; the croissant was flaky and buttery but the muffin was overly sweet.

We were visitors, but the welcome and friendly encounter with the staff was like taking in fresh air. There was little time before we happily had our coffees and treats. In fact, we were so impressed with the little Cafe, that we returned later in the afternoon. Again, we were welcomed like long lost friends. Thank you, Sugar n Spice Cafe. 😘

Went the other day for a tin of harney and son tea and a coffee bean. I got Guatemalan and I loved it. The price of bean is pair too. Owner barista is always helping and nice. Def one of my favorite cafe in the city.

After over 120 cafe visits across Australia in the past year (yes, I counted!), I can confidently say that Sugar N Spice Cafe in Brisbane is a genuine, glitter-dusted jewel—a place that feels less like a coffee shop and more like stepping through a secret door into a delightfully whimsical world. Tucked away on Adelaide Street, this little cafe is a blast from the past, boasting a truly unique and charming interior that is meticulously maintained and a dream for any coffee or tea lover. It's a sweet escape from the city hustle, offering a vibe that's simply transportive. My morning visits have been a pure joy. I was lucky enough to chat with the lovely barista—whose name I sadly missed—who shared that the cafe has been in this charming spot for over 27 years! That's more years than I've been alive, and his dedication truly shines through in every detail, including the utterly lovely cup of coffee and the delightful morning conversation I enjoyed on my way to work. More Than Just a Brew! Sugar N Spice isn't just about the caffeine; it’s a perfect spot to pick up an amazing, cute little gift. I, for one, couldn't resist! I snagged a fabulousFressko boobie pink to-go cup—and absolutely adore it. It's already a definite conversation piece, a tiny bit of adventure in my daily commute. If you're not quite as adventurous, fear not! They have a wide selection of other tumblers in a rainbow of colors and patterns to choose from. They also have adorable little gifts and treats that make great surprises for friends and family. I cannot recommend this cafe more highly. Sugar N Spice is an absolute gemstone in the center of Brisbane and a must-stop for anyone seeking great coffee, a lovely chat, or a quirky, adorable gift. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, perhaps to pick up some tea for the tea-lovers in my life!
